Hello and welcome! [updated Autumn 2000, so it include some outdated information]

I'm Leena Teräs and I live currently in Finland. At the moment I'm studying at University of Oulu educational sciences, educational technology, information technology, economics & business admin and women's studies. I'm also working at the University as a ICT-coordinator in NCRB-project (Network for Crisis Centres for Women in Barents Region). In addition I'm working time to time for women's studies (like doing some teaching and webmaintenance).

	I'm active member of many NGO's, but I also enjoy myself when facing challenges of " great outdoors"...
	I do have some strange obsessions in my life like running after the ball or climing up the wall...

Oulu is a town of high technology up North of Finland. For those who are interested, I recommend to visit in the web-site of Oulu.

Here's some local facts...

The University of Oulu is the second largest university in Finland. Everything is so large--wide.. even our landscepe. But anyhow, Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education is very fine place to be with - even study... ;)

And yes, it's built in the middle of nowhere... and on the swomp... Tells something about appreciation of academia up here Northern Territory... maybe ;-D
